Recently, Yang Yong, Vice President of the Singapore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association, and his delegation visited Suzhou University of Science and Technology and paid a visit to the renowned Academician Li Changming at the university. This visit aimed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between China and Singapore in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship and jointly promote scientific and technological innovation and the transformation of scientific achievements.
近日，新加坡创新创业协会副会长杨勇一行来到苏州科技大学，拜访了该校知名院士李长明。此次拜访旨在加强中新两国在创新创业领域的交流与合作，共同推动科技创新与成果转化。
Academician Li Changming is an outstanding expert in the fields of clean energy and advanced materials. He currently serves as the dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Suzhou University of Science and Technology. He holds multiple honors, including being an academician of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, and an academician of the European Academy of Sciences. Academician Li has been engaged in research work on functional nanomaterials, high-efficiency energy conversion mechanisms and applications for a long time and has achieved fruitful scientific research results.
李长明院士是洁净能源和先进材料领域的杰出专家，现任苏州科技大学材料科学与工程学院院长。他拥有美国医学与生物工程院院士、俄罗斯工程院外籍院士和欧洲科学院院士等多重荣誉。李院士长期从事功能纳米材料、高效能量转换机制和应用等方面的研究工作，取得了丰硕的科研成果。
During the talks, both sides had in-depth exchanges on aspects such as innovation and entrepreneurship, scientific and technological research and development, and talent cultivation. Academician Li extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Yang Yong and his delegation and introduced the measures and achievements of Suzhou University of Science and Technology in innovation and entrepreneurship. Vice President Yang Yong highly praised Academician Li’s academic achievements and hoped that more cooperation bridges could be built between Singapore and Suzhou University of Science and Technology in the future to jointly promote the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in both countries.
