Dr. George Zhang

Dr, George Zhang graduated with five degrees from Zhejiang University in China and holds a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore. His career spans multiple fields, including university counselor, engineer, senior Principal Investor, adjunct Ph.D. supervisor at top international universities。George also co-founded several Singaporean associations, significantly contributing to technological exchanges between Singapore and China, for which he was received by Chinese President Hu Jintao and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

Since 2009, Zhang Huajun has been involved in tech entrepreneurship, founding ChemoPower in Singapore. He commercialized his years of work in chemometrics, successfully bringing his technology to the forefront of the world stage. He developed the world’s first precise compounds profiling analysis software, outperforming similar software from major MNCs, significantly lowering the complexity and barriers to analyzing complex chemical components. This technology has been recognized by international authorities (NIST) and received strong support from Singapore’s ESG and A*STAR. It also gave rise to a new academic field—Molecular Informatics.

Based on his self-developed chemical profiling technology, George has been committed to modernizing and standardizing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He systematically uses chemical composition information from various TCM herbs to provide quality information and grading for TCM, offering molecular-level analysis to benefit consumers and users. In 2021, he initiated and established national-level standards for Chinese medicinal herbs in Singapore.

In 2020, Zhang Huajun founded the Molecular Info-Tech Company in Guangzhou, aiming to apply his technology to the TCM industry. During the Covide-19 pandemic, he developed the world’s latest digital blending technology for the standardization of TCM, successfully applying it to areas like alcohol beverage/ drink, fragrances, and ointments. This technological breakthrough is considered likely to spark another industrial revolution in the light industry sector.

张华俊本科毕业于中国浙江大学，期间获得五个专业学位，新加坡国立大学博士。他的职业生涯涵盖了多个领域，从大学辅导员、企业工程师，高级学科带头人，国际顶尖高校的兼职博士生导师，以及国外国家研究院的高级学科带头人。张华俊还参与创立了多个新加坡协会，为新加坡与中国之间的科技交流作出卓越贡献，并因此受到了胡锦涛主席和李克强总理的接见。 自2009年起，张华俊投身科技创业，在新加坡创办了ChemoPower企业。他将多年在化学计量法领域的积累商业化，并成功将其技术推向世界领先水平。他推出了世界上首套精准的化学成分全成分分析软件，性能超越其他国际大公司的同类软件，极大地降低了复杂化学成分分析的难度和门槛。这一技术获得了国际权威机构（NIST）的认可，并得到了新加坡国际企业发展局和科研局的 大力支持，同时也催生了新的学科领域——分子信息学。 基于自创的化学分析底层技术，张华俊一直致力于推动中药现代化和标准化。他系统地利用各种中药的化学成分信息，为中药材和中药提供质量信息和定级，从分子层面深入解析中药，造福消费者和用户。在2021年，他在新加坡发起并设立了国家级中药材的标准。 2020年，张华俊在广州创立分子信息公司，以将技术应用于中药事业为目标。在疫情期间，为了中药标准化，他研发了世界最新的数字调配技术，并成功将该技术应用于酒、香精香料、药膏等调配领域。这一技术的成功应用被认为将引发另一次轻工业革命。
